Your questions about paragliding in Annecy
It's a very accessible activity — you can fly from age 5, with no maximum age limit, as long as you can run a few steps at take-off. The only constraint is weight, generally capped at 110kg.
For a first time, the Classic flight (€100) is ideal — calm and peaceful. For the ultimate experience with HD photos and videos, go for the Prestige flight (€155).
Meet at Doussard landing zone → minibus up to Forclaz Pass → safety briefing → a few running steps and you're flying! No jumping, no falling sensation — just an extraordinary feeling of lightness above the lake.
Paragliding is a surprisingly gentle experience — no vertigo, mostly a sensation of freedom and breathtaking views over Lake Annecy and the Alps. If you love adrenaline, your instructor can make it more dynamic on request!
